 Frosting enables glass velvety acid-etched feel and appearance. Also called “acid-etching“ or “satin finishing”, this procedure is essential for hiding some glass flaws and aesthetical issues in the formula. Frosting does not offer any light protection to the product, it only limits transparency avoiding a complete and clear perception of what is inside the container. With its four decoration lines, Bianchi has a production capacity that is well suited to all the different shapes, whether they are cylindrical, flat, elliptical or not standard ones, thanks to tailor made molds developed for each specific project. Moreover, the company works in compliance with environmental regulations, with a continuous monitoring and treatment of the water used for the frosting process.
